The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 introduced important new rights to access information held by public authorities and required a more proactive approach to the publication of information. The Scottish Executive's publication scheme as required by the Act describes the information that we publish, in what form it is published, and details of any charges for providing the information. The Scottish Safety Camera Programme Office is part of the Scottish Executive.
The Scottish Safety Camera Programme Office works closely with and monitors each of the Safety Camera partnerships in Scotland. It should be noted that the Safety Camera partnerships are not themselves public authorities. However the individual partners are public authorities, so information associated with the partnerships will be available through them.
